A lifelong storyteller, finally putting the stories first.
I’m an indie romance author and former HR director. I reached the top of my career ladder, then realized it wasn’t where I wanted to stay. After years of putting the creative stuff on the back burner, I finally gave myself permission to chase the stories I’d been carrying since childhood.
Now I get to write the kind of characters I love to read: flawed, stubborn, funny people with complicated lives and plenty left to figure out. My stories bring together emotional depth, warmth, humor, romance, and enough mystery to keep you turning pages.
Independent publishing gives me the freedom to tell those stories my way, keep learning, and connect with the readers who make this whole thing possible.

Originally from Texas, I now live in southwest Louisiana with my husband, two kids, two German Shorthaired Pointers, and one cat who has opinions about everything.
When I’m not writing, working, or spending time with my family, I’m usually reading, trying to keep the family squad alive in Fortnite, or planning another Disney getaway.
I’m proudly self-taught, still learning as I go, and building this author career alongside my husband, who writes as E.M. West. One emotionally devastating fictional character at a time.
